As part of this year’s London Design Festival, the team were honoured to create an ice table for Fredrikson Stallard’s showcase, Momentum.
Celebrating the 10th anniversary of their partnership, the exhibition comprised a collection of artwork and sculpture that also functions as furniture.
The Ice Table consists of a crumpled metal sheet frozen into a block of ice and is reminiscent of the experimental duo’s first major show in 2005, Gloves for an Armless Venus.
Described as ‘fairytales for grown-ups’, the pair’s work has been commissioned by brands as diverse as Swarovski and Jaguar, as well as visionary interior designers and architects.
