The Hilton Bankside Hotel has just opened a brand new bar called The Distillery, and last week, the team were asked to carve their logo in ice for a big launch party.
Sculpting ice logos
The logo stood three metres long and was designed to rest atop the bar. The Hamiltons also sculpted a large snow fox for the occasion.
The Distillery is located on the site of Stevenson & Howell’s Standard Works which was a renowned essence factory in the 1800s. The bar tips its hat to history by serving a range of signature cocktails that incorporate homemade aromatics, infusions and bitters. You can also sample an artisan gin or craft beer if cocktails aren’t really your thing.
