Over the festive period, the team were heavily featured in ‘A Frozen Christmas’, a documentary made for Channel 4 that explores the appeal and growing popularity of luxury ice sculptures, with a behind-the-scenes look at how they’re created.
Following the Hamiltons’ progress as they work in and around their studio, the programme captures them working on three very different projects.
The first, an intricate, fairytale mirror made of ice for a charity fundraising gala hosted by Eva Longoria, the second, ice wheels for a Lexus online promotion that will support and carry a 2.2 tonne car, and finally, a life-size snow leopard ice sculpture as a collaboration with artist, Mark Coreth.
The programme also features Scandinavian ice sculptors working on the world-famous Ice Hotel in Sweden, in which pretty much everything is made of ice.
