Hamilton Ice Sculptors are so excited to announce our 10th Magical Ice Kingdom is now open to visit at this year’s Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. Since 2012, we have been creating magical ice sculptures for Winter Wonderland and this year promises to be better than ever, with brand new features and a totally unique experience.
With over 500 tonnes of ice and snow, you will be immersed in a magical world of fantasy as you explore the medieval kingdom and watch the King save his Queen from the evil ice witch.
The sculptors here at Hamilton start planning and designing the ice kingdom in April and begin sculpting in July, meaning it usually takes over half a year to create the Magical Ice Kingdom that you see at Hyde Park.
Other highlights of this years’ kingdom include an brand new awe-inspiring ice slide with a magical light up snow tunnel on top and a life-sized pumpkin carriage sculpted from ice.
What other creations do we have at Winter Wonderland?
We’ve also been designing some other fun bits for you to visit at Winter Wonderland this year including the ice bar and an ice sculpture of a giant ski lift for Crystal Ski Holidays – one of the sponsors of Winter Wonderland this year.
Bar Ice is a bar made completely of ice at Winter Wonderland, including pre-carved ice glasses, tables and chairs. This year’s theme is 80’s Après-ski and all visitors will get a free cocktail included in the price, so be sure to check it out!
We are also offering ice sculpting masterclasses to the public at Winter Wonderland. Anyone over the age of 12 is welcome to join us in groups of 2 to create your very own ice sculpture.
What else is there to see and do at Winter Wonderland?

There really is something for people of all ages, whether that’s taking a walk around the Christmas markets, visiting Santaland or checking out the amazing views of London from the top of the Aeronaut Starflyer!
